When to reach out

Data retention

A quick reference for how long we retain different kinds of data. For the full policy, see the Privacy Policy.

  • Usage records (request ID, model, endpoint, token counts, latency, cost, status): retained indefinitely so you can review historical usage in your dashboard. We do not retain the content of your prompts, messages, or responses.
  • Generated files: signed URLs are valid for 7 days. Files stay on our storage for approximately 30 days before automatic deletion. We may retain files longer when needed for operational, legal, or compliance reasons.
  • Uploaded files: files you attach in the playground (such as images, audio, or video for editing, transcription, or other inference) are retained for a shorter window, approximately 48 hours, before automatic deletion. We may retain these files longer when needed for operational, legal, or compliance reasons.
  • Playground chat history: conversations are automatically saved to your account so you can resume them later. Delete any chat from the History panel at any time. Up to 50 saved chats per account by default.
  • Account and billing data: retained while your account is active and for any period required by law (taxes, accounting, audit).
  • Backups: standard encrypted database backups, retained for a limited period for disaster recovery.
